Our team operates one of the Pacific Northwest’s most specialized industrial service fleets, including sweepers, hydro-excavation units, vacuum trucks, CCTV inspection vehicles, water trucks, and drain-cleaning equipment, all maintained by our in-house shop.

Paid Time Off (PTO)
Paid time off starts at approximately 62 hours in your first year and increases with service to approximately 166 hours after 12 years. Up to 160 hours may carry over.
6 Paid Holidays
Mid-State pays these six annual holidays in full: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Do I need previous sweeping or industrial service experience to apply?
Not necessarily. Relevant driving, equipment operation, construction, industrial, mechanical, or field-service experience can help, but Mid-State also considers dependable candidates willing to learn and complete the training required for their position.
Do Mid-State employees need a CDL?
CDL requirements depend on the position and equipment being operated. Some operator and driver positions require a valid commercial driver’s license, while other positions may not. We discuss job-specific licensing requirements during the hiring process.
What kind of work schedule should I expect at Mid-State?
Schedules vary by position and customer needs. Because Mid-State supports construction projects, municipalities, industrial facilities, emergency work, and services throughout Oregon, some positions may include early mornings, nights, weekends, overtime, or travel.

Some positions involve travel to job sites throughout Oregon. The amount of travel depends on your position, assigned equipment, and the type and location of customer projects.

Mid-State Industrial Service is headquartered in Eugene, Oregon. Employees may report to the Eugene facility before traveling to customer job sites throughout the state, depending on their position and daily assignment.
